Chicken Avocado Burgers

It doesn't take much to get Mr. Cush's attention when it comes to food. Specifically, I emailed him a link to a recipe for Chicken Avocado Burgers the other day and used the subject 'Chicken Avocado Burgers.' Within mere seconds, his reply was in my inbox and exactly seven words long: Why hadn't I thought of that before?

So, in my continued series of 'Recipes with Five or Fewer Ingredients,' I now present you with the latest installment that is Cushman approved and verified ...
Chicken Avocado Burger
1 pound ground chicken
1 large ripe avocado – cut into chunks
1/2 cup panko crumbs or other bread crumbs
1 chopped clove of garlic salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:
Toss the chunks of avocado, breading and garlic together. Blend mixture into ground chicken being careful not to mush the avocado. Form into 4-5 patties and grill until done (temp of 165).

We used Hawaiian buns and the combination was delicious. Also, we reheated the leftovers last night for dinner and they held up very well.

Bon appetit!
Ashley
