Anyway, if you're reading the blog today, you might be wondering why I haven't recapped last night's Keeping Up With the Kardashians like the last few Mondays. The truth is … even I can't do it anymore. My mindless television became significantly less mindless when I had to pay attention to it to break down into minute-by-minute increments.
SIDENOTE: The digital television guide describes the Aug. 4 episode, titled 'Opa!,' as this … Scott shows up to Greece with only one day left; Kendall feels like she's being left out; a putting at the Jenner home.
1. Kendra Scott Betty Long Necklace - Kendra Scott jewelry is pretty much a must-have in Austin. I might have a small fortune invested in various pieces, but they're all worn frequently and see equal playing time. However, I picked this pendant necklace up during a Girls' Night Out (every Wednesday different categories of her jewels are marked down in store and online) when metals were discounted and I've been wearing it nonstop. It's the perfect add-on to instantly dress up a plain tshirt and pair of shorts in the heat.
2. Essie's Hip Anema - I mentioned this in a post last week. It's been my pedi/mani choice all month long.
3. Bobbi Brown Corrector - Am I the last person on earth to find out the difference between concealer and corrector? Holy crap, does this stuff make a major difference! Concealer just layers color on top of undereye circles, redness and blemishes, but corrector actually CORRECTS (perfectly named, right?) the same problems before you apply foundation. A little bit of this goes a long way, and although it's a little pricey, it's definitely worth it if you're seeking an even skin tone.
4. Ann Taylor Loft Valyn Perforated Slide Sandals - If you like these, snag them now because LOFT.com is listing them at 60% off of $34.99! I'm not going to go into further detail because sandals are sandals, and you can form your own opinion based on the picture above.
5. Neutrogena Clear Face Sunblock - Have fair but sensitive skin that you want to protect, like me? Invest in a tube of this. I've been applying this every morning since May underneath my makeup, and it hasn't caused a single breakout like so many other facial sunscreens have in the past. And since it's waterproof, it's even a great product to apply all over your face before spending an afternoon at the pool like Mr. Cush and me.
6. Mitchum Advantage Control 48-Hour Strength & Protection - Summer in Texas is hot. 'nuf said.
