High Five For Friday #H54F

Another Friday, and another High Five For Friday post to wrap up the week that was.

1. My friends, those are Royal Munchkins from Dunkin' Donuts. My coworker, Travis, was thoughtful enough to bring me a bagful Monday morning and it jump-started my week (or caused a quick sugar high followed by a pretty ugly sugar crash - both would be accurate statements). If there's anything that might possibly be more exciting to me than a Royal Baby, it's a Royal donut. Thank you, Travis!

2. I picked up this foundation on a whim at Target and am kind of loving it. I haven't used a liquid foundation in years (MAC Studio Fix for this girl), but the packaging and use of the word 'magic' lured me in. It's a pretty sheer foundation, which is perfect for the summer, and very liquidy. I still load up on concealer and corrector before applying this (which the bottle says to apply with your fingers, a brush would absorb too much and waste the product), and you can actually see it transforming to a powder-like finish while you gently rub it into your skin. I love how this doesn't feel heavy and caky, especially while we're in the middle of another heat stroke down here in Texas.

3. The entryway in Casa de Cushman needs some help. It's pretty sad and bare right now, and needs some immediate TLC. I feel like it's a neglected area of our home because we never actually come in through the entryway ... our garage door brings us into the home through the kitchen, so we're never really confronted with the patheticness of our entryway. I've been looking to Pinterest from some pinspiration (<- I crack myself up), and hopefully something at Pier 1 or Home Goods or wherever speaks to me soon so I can decorate that area.

4. NINE DAYS until Breaking Bad returns for the final episodes!!! I'm so over the bad television this summer ... gimme Breaking Bad and Homeland soon, please, so the Kardashians can quit rotting my fragile little mind. (Want to generate your name in Breaking Bad style like mine? Click here.)

5. I was on a video shoot for work Thursday evening in the Arboretum area of Austin, and it reminded me why I do enjoy this city so much (even if I was sweating like a yeti the entire time) ... we're right in the heart of Texas, but it never FEELS like stereotypical Texas. Look at that picture and tell me that's what you think of when you think of Texas ... if you say it is, you're probably a liar.
