Anyhoo, time for a look down memory lane at the first week of September 2013!

2) Sunday was a very long travel day, and Monday was spent catching up with Riley and my DVR. It was the perfect way to recover.
3) Mr. Cush and I ended up at La Tapatia not once, but twice this week. La Tapatia is a fantastic little Mexican restaurant near our neighborhood, and we like to think of it as our 'hidden gem.' We went Tuesday because we were both too tired to actually make dinner, and we returned last night when Mr. Cush (er, I mean, the grill) overcooked our chicken. At this point, we might be considered 'regulars' by the restaurant staff.
4) I torture my hair 5-6 times per week, and it's becoming painfully obvious on the front pieces of my hair. There are some gnarly flyaways that I can't tame with the arsenal of products in my bathroom, so I'm turning to John Frieda for his assistance with my broken and damaged 'bang' area. I just purchased this at ULTA on my way home last night, and I'm looking forward to trying it out and giving y'all a review here sometime soon!
5) Speaking of hair, I'm itching to cut mine and this haircut speaks to me. In all honesty, I probably need a few inches chopped off to rid my 'do of some damage. However, I've been trying to grow my hair out for what feels like years, and I'm hesitant to make the chop after such a major investment of time. I might settle on an in-between length, what the blogosphere is calling the 'clavicut' right now because the longest lengths hit at your clavicle.
What have been five highlights from your week? Let me know in the comments below!
See you next week, friends!!!
I saw your link on the LaurenElizabeth blog. The name of your blog was too cute - so I had to look!!
ReplyDeleteAnyways - I feel you on the fried hair thing. I have started to wash mine less frequently and it has actually helped. Also - have you tried Moroccan Oil? It actually works!!
Come and check out my HighFiveForFridays post at gritstheblog.blogspot.com
HAPPY FRIDAY!
- Ashley
Thanks for the sweet comments, Ashley! Moroccan Oil is a bit too heavy for daily use on my hair, but I have tried it and it does wonders. I need to try the lighter version for those of us with lighter-colored hair.
DeleteYour blog is adorable! Thanks for introducing me to a new site in the blogosphere!!!
